Signing in

BInbox is by invitation. You can sign in once an owner or admin of your company’s client account has invited you, using the email address the invitation went to.

Go to app.binbox.ai and choose Sign in at the top right. Then pick one:

  1. Continue with Microsoft. Use your work Microsoft 365 account, or a personal Outlook.com account.
  2. Continue with Google. Use your Google Workspace or Gmail account.
  3. Sign in with a code by email. Type your email address and choose Email me a code. The email has a 6-digit code: type it in the sign-in window and choose Sign in with the code. Or click the email’s link, which opens BInbox on any browser or device, and choose Finish signing in. The code and the link work once and expire in an hour. No email after a few minutes? Look in your spam folder, or send another.

Whichever way you choose, it must be the same email address your invitation went to. Your company’s email security may open links before you do; that does not use them up, because BInbox waits for you to choose Finish signing in. Signing in with Microsoft and with Google lands you in the same BInbox account when both use that address.

The account menu at the top right shows your address, each client account you belong to with your role there, and Sign out. If you belong to more than one client account, choose the one to work in from that menu. BInbox remembers your choice on that browser.

Choose Sign out in the account menu. Your session ends on our side at once, not only on that browser.

What you see What it means
That account has no BInbox access yet. Sign in with the email you were invited with, or ask your administrator for an invitation. The Microsoft or Google account you used has a different email address from your invitation. Try the account with the invited address, or a code by email.
That email has no BInbox account yet. Ask your administrator for an invitation. Nobody has invited that address. Ask an owner or admin of your client account.
No client account includes you yet. Ask your administrator for an invitation. You have a BInbox account but no client account. You may have been removed, or the invitation was for another address.
Sign-in was cancelled. You closed the Microsoft or Google window before finishing. Start again.
Too many sign-in emails were asked for. Wait a minute, then try again. Sign-in emails are limited. Wait, then send one more.
That code is wrong or has expired. Use the code in the newest email, or send another. Check the digits against the newest email. A code works once and lasts an hour.
That sign-in link has been used or has expired. Type the code from the same email, or send another. The link was used, perhaps by your company’s email security. Ask for a new email and type its code.

Some companies let only their IT team approve new apps for Microsoft 365. If Microsoft asks for an administrator’s approval, send this page to your IT team, or sign in with a code by email instead.

A copy of BInbox opened from a file on your computer works without signing in. It cannot save files to a client account or see your colleagues’ files.
